The Journey Behind Winton Consulting Services
Hi, I’m Stephen Winton, the founder of Winton Consulting Services, and I’ve spent over 20 Years guiding organizations through the complexities of Agile transformation. My passion for Agile methodologies and helping teams reach their full potential was born out of my own experiences as a leader, coach, and program manager in diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, and finance.
A Career Rooted in Leadership and Agile Excellence
Early in my career, I discovered my fascination with project management and the intricacies of helping teams navigate challenges, deliver projects, and ultimately succeed. As I moved into leadership roles, I realized that many organizations struggled with the same issues—disconnected teams, inefficiencies, and projects that failed to meet deadlines. I knew there had to be a better way to empower teams and streamline processes. This led me to Agile.
Through extensive hands-on experience, I embraced Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. I saw firsthand how Agile could transform not just workflows, but entire organizational cultures. I spent years leading Agile transformations, guiding cross-functional teams, and mentoring leaders to adopt an Agile mindset.

After years of working within organizations, I realized my passion for helping businesses went beyond the walls of a single company. I wanted to make a broader impact—help more teams, more leaders, and more organizations unlock the power of Agile. So, I founded Winton Consulting, where I could share my knowledge, expertise, and passion for Agile methodologies with businesses seeking to elevate their performance.
